Guidelines
For Apprenticeship Training Aspirants
The National Scheme of
Apprenticeship Training implemented by the Ministry of Human Resource
Development (Department of Education) provides opportunities for
practical training to freshly pass-on graduate engineers, technicians and
10+2 (Vocational) students in industries and other organisations as per
the Apprentices Act 1961, (as amended in 1973 & 1986) and as per
policies and guidelines laid down by Central Apprenticeship Council.
Educational Qualification
1.Graduate
Apprentice
- A Degree in Engineering/Techonolgy awarded by a statutory
University or by an Institution empowered to award such Degree by an
Act of parliament.
- An examination of professional bodies recognised by central
Government as equivalent to Degree
- A Sandwich Course student who is undergoing training as per the
curriculum in order that he may hold a Degree in
Engineering/Technology as mentioned (a) above.
